HofK Recent Projects

Enemy Aliens – Internment in Canada, 1914- 1920 exhibit at Fort Henry National Historical Site.

This innovative interactive exhibit was designed and built through the collaboration of Jensen Design, Swim Media, HofK, and Museum Planners Group. We took on the challenge to produce this multimedia display combining film and still photographs creating the illusion of "ghost-like figures" relaying the stories of their lives in this internment camp.

S.M.I.L.E.: Acadia University Snoezelen Room

Phase Two

After a long 'Covid' break, HofK has completed Phase Two design, fabrication, and installation for the "Snoezelen" Room at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Phase Two of the "Great Canadian Adventure" includes highlights from Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia featuring an interactive model of the Hotel Frontenac, trees with fiberoptic sap and bucket, fiberoptic Niagara Falls with tightrope walker, push button totem pole, murals, and much more.

The purpose of this environment is to provide a non-threatening surrounding that will give both children and adults with learning and developmental disabilities a multi-sensory experience.

LINCOLN MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER

HofK has recently completed the design, fabrication, and installation of the exhibits for this exciting and educational museum located in the Town of Lincoln.

The current exhibits include Fraktur - Beautiful folk art of the area by German speaking settlers, Common Ground - Discover the flora and fauna of the area, Belongings - The cultural tapestry of the area residents, Our Story - Historical timeline of Lincoln.

HofK was involved in the design, graphics, fabrication, artifact mounts and installation.

CURIO EXPLORATION HUB

HofK is proud to announce that we have successfully completed the millwork and interactive exhibits for Curio Exploration Hub located in Barrie. This boutique Children's Museum is designed to entertain and educate children immersing them in play based learning environment. Curio is currently open and is an adventure waiting for children of all ages. www.curiohub.ca
